1)
Is there a growing trend within schools?
There
is a trend towards SignWriting in Research
groups and new Software development...
BUT, most schools do not realize SignWriting or SignBank
exists.
We have four Pilot Projects in 4 countries. All successful.
IF, schools knew about it, they would want to try it...It
is free to them....
We can put them in touch with the Albuquerque & German
teachers who are USING SIGNBANK in the Pilot Project...
2)
Are there tools out there that are
similar to SignBank?
NO. SignBank and SignWriting are historic FIRSTs. There
is nothing like it...
Other databases might have sign-videos for sign languages...THAT
IS NOT READING AND WRITING.
FOR THE FIRST TIME IN HISTORY, Sign Languages are WRITTEN
languages, and SignWriting, inside SignBank, is making
this possible.
